Ugh!

Today I just took measurements of the wall in the ANR box suite of the stadium. I realized my memory sucks, and now I have to rework my design. I am so glad I didn’t cut any of my materials yet, because then I would have been screwed. It’s frustrating trying to think of this painting three dimensionally. I think this is the first project where I’ll actually be constructing the piece, like one of those build-it-yourself sauder furniture things. Only difference is my unit won’t be cheaply made.

Instead of tiles, I was hoping to use collaged paper to create my subject

in terms of the actual shape of the piece:

this one seems like the best possible solution so far. It’s so unique the way it’s put together, I think it will fit the space I need it to.
